Fantastic place to grab a bite and a drink! The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. The atmosphere is charming, and I loved the selection of beers on tap. I tried the chicken burger, and it was cooked to perfection! If I had to suggest one thing, it’d be to speed up the food service a little during peak hours, as we waited a bit longer than expected. Overall, a great pub experience!

I recently visited this lovely pub with a couple of friends, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a chill evening out. We started with a few pints of local ale, which were incredibly well-kept and bursting with flavour. The highlight, however, was the food! I ordered the steak and ale pie, and it was simply divine—flaky pastry with rich filling that melted in my mouth. Service was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. My only suggestion would be to have a few more vegetarian options on the menu for those of us who occasionally prefer a meat-free meal. Overall, this spot is a gem in town, and I can’t wait to return for another round of that pie and a pint!

What a fantastic place to unwind after a busy week! I went here with my family last Saturday. The rustic decor gave it a charming feel, reminiscent of classic pubs but with a modern twist. We were seated promptly, and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. I particularly loved their selection of craft beers; I tried a few different ones and found each one to be a delightful discovery. The food was equally impressive. My partner had the fish and chips, which arrived beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. I opted for the vegetarian curry, which was full of flavour but perhaps could have been a tad spicier for my taste. The only downside was the slightly longer wait for our meals, but the staff kept us updated, which was appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I look forward to coming back and trying more from the menu!

I had an amazing experience at this pub last weekend! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the friendly atmosphere and the inviting decor. The bar staff were incredibly knowledgeable about their extensive drink selection and recommended a fantastic local ale that was just perfect. I also tried their homemade desserts—let me tell you, the sticky toffee pudding was heavenly! The only small critique I would have is that the seating could be a bit more comfortable; after a few hours, I found the chairs slightly lacking in support. Nevertheless, the buzz of laughter and chatter around made it easy to overlook. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of their food options and enjoy another pint of that ale. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back evening with great company!
